18th September Update

Firstly we are thankful to the enthusiastic response regarding Quant Fusion and the ongoing engagement around its Multi-Ledger Rollup testnet launch. There will shortly be an official Quant announcement on the testnet launch date. Ahead of that, we provide you some final pre-launch updates.

Before launch we re-considered the networks that our Multi-Ledger Rollup will start connected to.

Decision Point: Should we launch the Rollup testnet with the same 3 testnet connections as the devnet began with, that is Ethereum Sepolia, Polygon Amoy and Avalanche Fuji?

Key points:

  • We want to launch with 3 networks for demonstration simplicity - more networks can always be added later
  • We want to also demonstrate how Fusion can connect Public to Permissioned blockchains in a simple manner
  • We are weary around concerns for sourcing public testnet coins

Decision: The Rollup testnet will now launch with the following 3 network connections: (1) Ethereum Sepolia testnet; (2) Polygon Amoy Testnet; (3) Quant Besu Private Network - available via Quant Connect.

In this way we will demonstrate on day 1 how liquidity from public and permissioned networks can be merged in a simple and secure manner, to create a unified token layer.

Tech wise, we have continued our detailed audit analysis, and performed significant tests on our "unified token" concept.

We look forward to public feedback on the technical product very shortly.

Next Steps

The official Quant announcement on the Multi-Ledger Rollup testnet launch will occur imminently and include a fixed release date.
